Good News Pest Control has been in business for 12 years. In that time, it has made a name for itself among customers and industry competitors as a pest control firm with high standards. That reputation was solidified on Thursday when CEO Ron Sumpter was named Pest Controller of the Year by Statewide Exterminators Association (SEA). It was just one of a flurry of awards SEA presented to members at its annual awards banquet. Representatives from Good News attended, including Sumpter, who brought along his son Kyle, who works as his assistant at Good News.

In addition to serving its existing clients, they expect to earn business from these and other companies in Hampton Roads soon. The current growth rate is expected to continue or even accelerate as they head into 2014.
